Warehouse Assistant / Storekeeper / Logistics Officer
Location: Changi (East), Singapore – Aerospace Industry
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Salary: Up to $2,700 per month (inclusive of basic salary and allowances)
Work Schedule: Rotating Shifts
Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 4:15 PM
Shift 2: 4:00 PM – 1:45 AM

Role Overview
The Warehouse Assistant / Storekeeper / Logistics Officer is responsible for supporting the end-to-end warehouse and inventory operations within a high-value aerospace environment. This role involves handling aircraft components, engines, specialized tools, and regulated materials with a high level of accuracy and care.
The successful candidate will contribute directly to ensuring that all materials required for aircraft maintenance activities are properly received, stored, tracked, and distributed in a timely and compliant manner. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured and safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management and Control
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using internal systems
Perform regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits
Investigate and report discrepancies between physical stock and system records
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all inventory movements
Receiving and Inbound Operations
Receive aircraft engines, spare parts, and other materials from suppliers and internal transfers
Conduct unloading, unpacking, and inspection of incoming goods
Verify shipment details against delivery documentation, including part numbers and serial numbers
Ensure all items are properly logged and stored according to company procedures
Outbound Operations and Distribution
Prepare and issue materials, tools, and components to engineers and technicians
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to designated operational areas
Maintain proper records of issued and returned items
Support urgent requests from maintenance teams with efficiency and accuracy
Material Handling and Movement
Transport heavy and sensitive equipment, including engine stands and large components
Coordinate movement of materials between internal and external warehouse locations
Utilize appropriate handling equipment and follow safe lifting procedures
Ensure all movements are properly documented and tracked
Chemical Handling and Safety Compliance
Manage chemical storage cabinets in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements
Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage of hazardous materials
Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards and operational guidelines
Participate in safety audits and compliance checks when required
Warehouse Organization and Housekeeping
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Label and categorize items accurately for easy identification and retrieval
Optimize storage space while ensuring accessibility and safety
Follow housekeeping standards in line with aerospace industry requirements
Coordination and Team Collaboration
Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and logistics personnel
Support maintenance operations by ensuring timely availability of required materials
Communicate effectively to resolve operational issues and delays
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
Requirements
Essential Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse operations, storekeeping, or inventory management
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items
Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, aviation, engineering, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS)
Basic knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain operations
Forklift certification or experience handling warehouse equipment
