– Ensuring shelves are properly organized and products are displayed neatly.

– Checking product labels and expiry dates.

– Rotating products according to store procedures.

– Packing and organizing grocery items.

– Maintaining cleanliness and order in the assigned working area.

– Assisting customers when required.

– Supporting the store team with other daily operational duties.

 

2. Cashier

 

Cashier duties may include:

 

– Operating the supermarket cashier system.

– Processing customer payments accurately.

– Handling cashless and cash transactions according to store procedures.

– Assisting customers during checkout.

– Packing groceries into shopping bags when required.

– Checking that transactions are completed correctly.

– Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

– Providing basic customer assistance.

– Performing other ad-hoc duties assigned by the store supervisor.

 

JOB DETAILS

 

Location: Multiple supermarkets and shopping mall outlets across Singapore

 

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

 

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, subject to individual outlet requirements

 

Hourly Salary: Up to SGD 12.50 per hour

 

Public Holiday Rate: Up to SGD 25.00 per hour

 

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

 

Experience: No experience required

 

Work Environment: Air-conditioned supermarket and retail environment

 

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS AVAILABLE

 

There are vacancies at different supermarket outlets and shopping mall locations across Singapore. Candidates may indicate their preferred area when applying, subject to available vacancies.

 

Outlet assignment, working hours and shift schedules will be determined according to the operational requirements of each supermarket.

 

Candidates should therefore be flexible with their assigned working location and shift timing.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

 

– Comfortable standing and walking for long periods.

– Physically fit enough to perform grocery replenishment and packing duties.

– Able to work according to assigned shift schedules.

– Willing to work weekends or public holidays when required.

– Able to follow instructions from the store supervisor.

– Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

– Able to work independently as well as with a team.

– No previous supermarket or retail experience is required.

– Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

– Minimum commitment of approximately 1 month is preferred.

– Short-term commitment may also be considered depending on available vacancies.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

The job involves daily supermarket operations and may require candidates to stand for extended periods. Grocery replenishment staff may need to move and arrange products throughout the store, while cashier staff will spend most of their working hours at the checkout counter.
