Position Summary
The Strawberry Packer plays an important role in ensuring that fresh strawberries are carefully inspected, sorted, packed, labeled, and prepared for distribution according to company quality standards.
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Employees selected for this position will perform duties including, but not limited to:
– Inspect fresh strawberries to ensure they meet company quality standards.
– Remove damaged, bruised, overripe, or spoiled fruit.
– Sort strawberries according to size, color, weight, and quality grade.
– Pack strawberries into punnets, trays, cartons, and export packaging.
– Arrange products carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
– Seal and label packages according to company procedures.
– Prepare finished products for storage, shipment, and distribution.
– Weigh products and verify packaging quantities.
– Monitor product quality throughout the packing process.
– Maintain cleanliness of workstations, production lines, equipment, and storage areas.
– Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations at all times.
– Handle fresh produce carefully to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
– Report damaged products, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
– Organize packaging materials and maintain sufficient production supplies.
– Assist warehouse personnel with stock arrangement and inventory when required.
– Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
– Perform additional production or warehouse-related duties assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements

– No previous working experience is required.
– Full training will be provided by the company.

– Minimum age of 18 years.
– Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
– Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
– Able to lift light to moderate-weight cartons when necessary.
– Good eyesight and strong attention to detail.

– Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
– Able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Basic English communication skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
– Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Working Schedule
– Full-Time Permanent Position.
– Five or six working days per week depending on operational requirements.
– Standard eight-hour working shifts.
– Morning, afternoon, or rotating shifts may be assigned.
