Position: IT Support Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

 

A company in Singapore is looking for motivated and responsible candidates to join the team as an IT Support Engineer. This position is suitable for candidates who have an interest in information technology, computer systems, technical support, and troubleshooting.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with employees and the IT team to provide daily technical assistance, maintain computer equipment, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure that IT operations run smoothly.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Provide first-line technical support to employees and users

• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software problems

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment

• Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, internet, and connectivity issues

• Assist with operating systems, applications, and system configuration

• Set up computers and user accounts for new employees

• Monitor and maintain IT equipment and systems

• Respond to IT support requests and resolve technical issues efficiently

• Maintain records of IT equipment and support activities

• Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel when required

• Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and basic security procedures

• Support the IT department with daily technical operations and projects

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software

• Understanding of Windows operating systems and common applications

• Basic knowledge of networking and troubleshooting

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and users

• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn new technologies

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Previous IT support experience is an advantage

• Candidates with relevant IT education or certifications are welcome

• Fresh graduates with suitable IT knowledge may also be considered
