Job Title: Public Area Cleaner
Work Location: Somerset, Singapore
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Monthly Salary
– Basic Salary from SGD 2,080
– Overtime Pay Available
– Good Attendance Incentive of SGD 100 per month
– Potential Gross Monthly Salary Up to SGD 3,000

Working Schedule
Employees may be assigned to either of the following work arrangements depending on operational requirements:
Shift Option 1
– Six working days per week
– 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Shift Option 2
– Five working days per week
– 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
– or
– 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Rest days will be scheduled according to operational requirements. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required when assigned.

Key Responsibilities
As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout all public areas of the hotel.
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
Public Area Cleaning
– Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors.
– Vacuum carpets, rugs, and floor mats.
– Clean hotel lobby, reception area, and guest waiting areas.
– Dust furniture, decorative items, display shelves, and fixtures.
– Wipe glass panels, mirrors, windows, and entrance doors.
– Maintain cleanliness of hallways, corridors, and common walkways.
– Clean elevators, lift interiors, lift buttons, and surrounding areas.
– Ensure staircases and emergency exits remain clean and free from obstruction.
Washroom Cleaning
– Clean and sanitize public toilets and washrooms.
– Wash sinks, mirrors, partitions, countertops, and restroom fixtures.
– Refill toilet paper, hand soap, tissues, paper towels, and air fresheners.
– Maintain high hygiene standards throughout every shift.
Waste Management
– Empty rubbish bins regularly.
– Replace garbage bags.
– Dispose of waste according to company procedures.
– Separate recyclable materials where required.
General Housekeeping
– Remove dust and dirt from all assigned public areas.
– Clean spills immediately to maintain a safe environment.
– Carry out routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
– Report damaged furniture, leaking pipes, faulty lighting, broken fixtures, or maintenance issues.
– Handle cleaning chemicals safely.
– Operate cleaning equipment according to company procedures.
– Follow workplace health and safety regulations.
– Support housekeeping operations during busy periods.
– Perform additional cleaning duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Candidate Requirements

– Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage.
– No experience required as comprehensive training will be provided.
