POSITION OVERVIEW
A well-established food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking experienced and dedicated Food Production Operators to join its production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing ingredients, wrapping traditional rice dumplings (Bak Zhang), assisting in food production, and ensuring that all products are manufactured in accordance with company quality standards and Singapore food safety regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare raw ingredients, seasonings, fillings, packaging materials, and production equipment before the start of daily operations.
• Wrap Bak Zhang (rice dumplings) accurately and consistently according to company specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in food preparation, cooking, steaming, cooling, packing, labeling, and storage of finished products.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality, consistency, and presentation before packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all workstations, machinery, utensils, and production areas throughout the workday.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), food hygiene regulations, workplace safety rules, and quality assurance procedures.
• Ensure all products are produced in compliance with Singapore food safety standards.
• Monitor production materials and report shortages or damaged materials to supervisors.
• Assist with stock movement, inventory organization, and replenishment of production supplies when required.
• Support loading, unloading, and transportation of raw materials and finished products within the factory.
• Work closely with supervisors and production team members to achieve daily production targets and delivery schedules.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties at the end of each production shift.
• Carry out any additional production, packaging, or factory-related duties assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum N Level qualification or equivalent.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in Bak Zhang (rice dumpling) wrapping.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and quality control practices.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended working hours.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and committed to maintaining high work standards.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a production team.
• Willing to work overtime when required to meet production demands.
WORKING HOURS
Monday – Saturday
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
