Position: Train Interior Cleaner

Work Schedule: Shift / Rotating Shift

JOB OVERVIEW

 

MTR cleaning teams in Hong Kong are looking for responsible, hardworking, and physically fit individuals to support train interior cleaning and hygiene operations.

 

The successful candidates will help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable train environments for passengers by performing routine cleaning and sanitation duties.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

– Clean train interiors, passenger areas, floors, windows, seats, doors, handrails, and panels.

– Remove dust, stains, rubbish, and other debris.

– Maintain assigned areas according to cleanliness standards.

– Operate cleaning equipment and products safely.

– Follow established cleaning procedures and work schedules.

– Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.

– Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene requirements.

– Work efficiently as part of a team.

– Ensure assigned train compartments are clean and ready for passenger service.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

– Open to male and female applicants.

– Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.

– Willing to work shifts or rotating schedules.

– Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.

– Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures.

– Good attention to cleanliness and detail.

– Able to work independently and within a team.

– Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hotels, transportation, or facility management is an advantage.

– Candidates without previous experience may also be considered, subject to employer requirements.

– Willing to work in a busy public transportation environment.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Employees may be required to work different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on operational requirements.

 

Training and workplace guidance may be provided to successful candidates according to employer requirements.
