CATTERY ASSISTANT / CAT CARE WORKER

Salary: HKD 19,400 per month

JOB OVERVIEW

A professional pet care facility in Kai Tak, Kowloon is currently hiring Cattery Assistants / Cat Care Workers to join its team.

This position is suitable for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with cats and are interested in building practical experience in the animal care industry. Previous professional experience is not required, as training and workplace guidance will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide daily care and attention to cats
• Prepare and provide food according to feeding schedules
• Ensure cats have clean and fresh drinking water
• Clean cages, sleeping areas, and activity spaces
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic cattery
• Assist with daily cat-care routines
• Monitor cats’ behavior, activity, and general condition
• Report unusual behavior or concerns to supervisors
• Handle cats safely and carefully
• Assist with basic grooming when required
• Follow hygiene, safety, and workplace procedures
• Support the team with daily cattery operations
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Employees will work in a professional and organized cattery alongside an experienced team. The position provides practical exposure to animal care, including feeding routines, cleaning procedures, safe animal handling, grooming support, and general pet-care management.
