We are currently looking for responsible, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our growing operations team as a Driver cum Cleaner. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily operations by transporting staff, equipment, and cleaning materials while assisting the cleaning team whenever required.
Position Summary
The Driver cum Cleaner is responsible for the safe transportation of employees, cleaning equipment, machinery, and supplies to various job sites across Singapore. Besides driving duties, the successful candidate is expected to participate in cleaning operations, assist team members, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.
This role requires excellent time management, safe driving practices, physical fitness, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Responsibilities
– Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly.
– Transport employees, cleaning equipment, machinery, and supplies to customer locations.
– Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely arrival.
– Follow all Singapore traffic laws and company driving policies.
– Ensure company vehicles remain clean and presentable.
– Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
– Report accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues immediately.
– Refuel company vehicles when necessary.
Operational Duties
– Load and unload cleaning equipment safely.
– Organize and secure equipment during transportation.
– Prepare machines and cleaning supplies before each assignment.
– Assist supervisors in coordinating daily operational activities.
– Support team members during busy work periods.
– Ensure all equipment is returned after every project.
– Report damaged or missing equipment immediately.
Cleaning Responsibilities
The Driver cum Cleaner is expected to assist in cleaning duties whenever operational support is required, including:
– Sweeping and mopping floors.
– Vacuuming carpets.
– Cleaning offices and commercial premises.
– Cleaning residential properties.
– Cleaning kitchens and washrooms.
– Sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
– Dusting furniture and fixtures.
– Cleaning windows and glass panels.
– Emptying rubbish bins.
– Operating floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and polishing machines.
– Assisting in deep cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, and move-in or move-out cleaning projects.
Safety Responsibilities
Employees must:
– Follow all workplace safety procedures.
– Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
– Handle cleaning chemicals safely.
– Operate equipment according to company guidelines.
– Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
– Report unsafe conditions and workplace incidents immediately.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
– Valid Singapore Driving Licence.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
– Good teamwork and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Physically fit and capable of lifting cleaning equipment.
– Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
– Willingness to travel to different locations across Singapore.
Candidates with previous experience in driving, logistics, delivery services, facilities management, or the professional cleaning industry will have an added advantage.
