A childcare centre located in Balmoral, Central Region of Singapore, is currently looking for a Cleaner. This position is suitable for applicants who are looking for a regular cleaning job with scheduled working hours and a convenient daytime shift.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the childcare premises. The successful applicant should be able to complete daily cleaning tasks carefully and follow the instructions provided by the supervisor.
Main responsibilities include:
• Disinfect cabinets, tables, counters and other surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors regularly
• Vacuum designated areas
• Remove and clear rubbish
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Clean and maintain assigned areas within the childcare premises
• Perform compound cleaning when required
• Ensure cleaning equipment and areas are properly maintained
• Keep the childcare environment clean, organised and hygienic
• Carry out additional cleaning duties when required
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should be physically able to perform regular cleaning duties and comfortable with tasks that may require standing, walking, bending and moving cleaning equipment.
Previous cleaning experience will be an advantage, especially for applicants who have worked in childcare centres, schools, offices, commercial buildings or other facilities.
Experience with compound cleaning will also be advantageous.
Applicants should be able to speak basic English or understand and follow simple workplace instructions. Good attendance, punctuality and a responsible attitude are expected.
ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to wear suitable work attire during working hours:
• Black T-shirt or Polo T-shirt
• Long Pants
• Covered Shoes

This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only.
This vacancy may be suitable for candidates who are looking for a cleaning position in the Central Region and prefer daytime working hours. The scheduled working hours may also be suitable for applicants who prefer a shorter shift rather than overnight or late-night cleaning work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The successful applicant will work in a childcare environment where cleanliness and hygiene are important. Cleaning duties will involve maintaining various areas of the premises, including floors, tables, cabinets, counters, common areas and surrounding areas.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently while also following instructions from the supervisor or management team.
Applicants with previous cleaning experience may have an advantage during the selection process. However, candidates should still confirm the specific experience requirements and job duties directly with the employment agency.
