Key Responsibilities
– Conduct security screening of passengers, cabin baggage, checked baggage, and personal belongings using airport security screening equipment.
– Ensure all screening procedures comply with Singapore aviation security regulations and international security standards.
– Assist passengers during security screening in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
– Provide clear guidance and accurate information to passengers regarding airport security procedures.
– Support passenger check-in and boarding operations whenever required.
– Monitor assigned screening checkpoints to maintain a safe and secure airport environment.
– Identify prohibited or suspicious items and follow established security protocols.
– Report incidents, security concerns, or operational irregularities to supervisors promptly.
– Work closely with airport authorities, airline personnel, and fellow security officers to maintain efficient airport operations.
– Complete operational reports and documentation accurately.
– Maintain a high level of professionalism, discipline, and customer service at all times.
– Perform any additional aviation security duties assigned by management.
Requirements
– Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
– Singapore Citizens only.
– No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
– Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
– Able to communicate effectively in English.
– Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
– Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
– Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport environment.
– Able to commit to rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
– Willing to undergo background checks, medical examination, and mandatory aviation security certification where applicable.
