Working Schedule

 

Monday to Friday

 

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

One-hour lunch break included

 

Saturday

 

7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

 

5.5-day work week

 

Fixed day shift

 

Sundays and Public Holidays according to company schedule

To ensure employees travel safely and conveniently to work each day, transportation is provided by the company.

About the Role

 

The Production Cleaner plays an essential role in supporting manufacturing activities by maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the production facility. Pharmaceutical manufacturing requires strict hygiene standards to ensure every production area remains safe, clean, and compliant with company and industry regulations.

 

You will work closely with supervisors, production operators, maintenance personnel, and fellow cleaning staff to ensure all designated areas remain in excellent condition throughout each working day.

 

Your attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and willingness to follow company procedures will help maintain a world-class manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Your daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

 

– Cleaning production rooms before, during, and after manufacturing activities.

– Sweeping and mopping floors using approved cleaning equipment.

– Vacuuming designated production and office areas.

– Wiping walls, doors, glass panels, workstations, tables, shelves, and production surfaces.

– Cleaning corridors, stairways, entrances, exits, and common walkways.

– Emptying rubbish bins and replacing waste bags.

– Collecting and disposing of waste according to company procedures.

– Maintaining cleanliness in staff common areas and shared facilities.

– Cleaning rest areas and designated utility spaces.

– Sanitizing high-touch surfaces where required.

– Assisting with scheduled deep-cleaning activities.

– Following cleaning schedules prepared by supervisors.

– Refilling cleaning supplies whenever necessary.

– Reporting damaged equipment or maintenance issues promptly.

– Using cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.

– Following all hygiene and sanitation procedures.

– Supporting production teams by maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

– Performing additional housekeeping duties assigned by supervisors when required.

Production Cleaners will be required to:

 

– Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the work shift.

– Wear approved safety shoes at all times.

– Follow workplace hygiene protocols.

– Handle cleaning chemicals according to company guidelines.

– Use cleaning machines and equipment correctly.

– Maintain safe housekeeping standards.

– Report unsafe conditions immediately.

– Participate in workplace safety briefings when required.

– Follow supervisor instructions and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

Training Provided

 

No need to worry if you are unfamiliar with pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive on-the-job training covering:

Candidate Requirements

 

Applicants should satisfy the following requirements:

 

– Only Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents (PR), and Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holders may apply.

– Able to commence work immediately.

– Willing to work a 5.5-day schedule.

– Able to travel to Tuas daily.

– Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.

– Comfortable wearing PPE throughout the working day.

– Able to wear safety shoes while performing duties.

– No allergy to penicillin due to the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

– Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning work.

– Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

– Responsible and trustworthy.

– Good attendance record.

– Positive working attitude.

– Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
