As a Laundry Attendant, you will become part of an essential operations team responsible for ensuring that thousands of linen items are cleaned, processed, inspected, folded, packed, and prepared for delivery every day. Your work directly supports hotels, serviced apartments, hospitals, restaurants, offices, shopping malls, and many other businesses that rely on clean, hygienic, and professionally maintained linen.

Position Overview
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for supporting daily laundry production operations from the moment soiled linen is received until clean laundry is packed and prepared for distribution. Successful candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining excellent hygiene, productivity, quality control, and workplace safety.
The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
– Receive dirty linen from customers or internal departments.
– Sort laundry according to fabric type, colour, washing temperature, and cleaning instructions.
– Separate delicate items from standard laundry.
– Inspect incoming laundry for damage before washing.
– Load industrial washing machines safely and efficiently.
– Measure and use approved detergents and cleaning chemicals according to company procedures.
– Operate industrial dryers while monitoring drying cycles.
– Operate ironing, pressing, steaming, and automatic folding machines.
– Fold towels, bedsheets, uniforms, blankets, pillowcases, tablecloths, curtains, napkins, and other linen items neatly.
– Inspect every cleaned item to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
– Remove stained, damaged, or defective linen and report any issues to supervisors.
– Pack clean laundry into designated containers, bags, or trolleys.
– Prepare laundry according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
– Label and organize laundry before dispatch.
– Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and production areas throughout each shift.
– Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of laundry machines.
– Follow workplace safety rules and hygiene standards at all times.
– Wear personal protective equipment whenever required.
– Assist with inventory counting and stock control of linen and laundry supplies.
– Support other operational duties assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Candidate Requirements

– Willing to work rotating shifts.
– Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
– Previous experience in laundry operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
– Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
Working Schedule
Working Days: 6 Days Per Week (Rotating Schedule)
Morning Shift
9:00 AM – 5:20 PM
Afternoon Shift
11:40 AM – 7:30 PM
Shift allocation will be arranged according to operational requirements.
