As a Cargo Coordinator, you will become an essential member of the airport cargo operations team, ensuring that import, export, and transshipment cargo is processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You will work closely with airlines, freight forwarders, customs authorities, warehouse personnel, transport operators, and airport operational teams to ensure shipments are handled according to international aviation and logistics standards.
Comprehensive training will be provided, allowing successful candidates to develop practical knowledge of airport cargo operations, documentation procedures, warehouse coordination, shipment tracking, and supply chain management while working in a professional and multicultural environment.

– Gross Monthly Salary: SGD 2,600–3,200 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Job Overview
As a Cargo Coordinator, you will support the daily coordination of cargo activities within Changi Airport’s air freight operations. Your responsibilities include monitoring cargo movement, preparing documentation, coordinating shipment schedules, maintaining operational records, and ensuring compliance with airline, customs, and airport regulations.
You will play an important role in maintaining the smooth flow of cargo while ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, safety, and timely delivery of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
– Coordinate import, export, and transshipment cargo operations
– Receive, verify, and process cargo documentation accurately
– Check shipment information before cargo acceptance and release
– Coordinate shipment schedules with airlines and freight forwarders
– Monitor cargo arrival and departure status
– Ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded according to operational procedures
– Liaise with warehouse personnel regarding cargo handling requirements
– Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records
– Monitor shipment tracking systems and update cargo status
– Ensure compliance with airport security, customs, and aviation regulations
– Support warehouse operations during cargo processing activities
– Assist with inventory verification when required
– Resolve operational issues promptly to minimise shipment delays
– Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and external logistics partners
– Maintain workplace safety and operational standards at all times
– Support supervisors with operational planning and coordination
– Perform additional duties assigned by management when required
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are committed to delivering excellent service and maintaining high operational standards.
Applicants should possess:
– Diploma in any discipline
– Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
– No previous experience required (Full training provided)
– Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, aviation, supply chain, or transportation is an advantage
– Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational and coordination abilities
– Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
– Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport environment
– Basic computer literacy
– Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage but not compulsory
