Working Schedule
Employees will work on a rostered schedule consisting of:
– 6 Days Work Week
– Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
– Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM
Applicants may indicate their preferred shift (Day or Night), subject to operational requirements and position availability.
Position Overview
The Fresh Produce Sorter / Packer is responsible for inspecting, sorting, grading, packing, labeling, and preparing fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood, and other perishable food products for storage and distribution.
The role requires attention to detail, commitment to food safety, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Employees play an important role in ensuring customers receive fresh, high-quality products while supporting the smooth operation of Singapore’s food distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sorting & Quality Inspection
Employees will be responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards before distribution.
Responsibilities include:
– Sort fresh vegetables, fruits, and seafood according to company specifications.
– Grade products based on quality, freshness, and appearance.
– Remove damaged or unsuitable products.
– Inspect produce carefully before packing.
– Report quality issues to supervisors.
– Ensure products comply with company quality control procedures.
– Maintain product freshness throughout handling processes.
Packing & Labelling
Employees are responsible for preparing products for storage and delivery.
Responsibilities include:
– Pack products according to company standards.
– Prepare products for retail and wholesale distribution.
– Label cartons accurately.
– Verify product quantities before sealing packages.
– Ensure packaging materials are used correctly.
– Organize packed products efficiently.
– Prepare orders for dispatch.
Warehouse Operations
Support daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflow.
Responsibilities include:
– Receive incoming stock deliveries.
– Load and unload products safely.
– Move products using pallet jacks or warehouse equipment.
– Organize warehouse storage areas.
– Maintain orderly stock arrangement.
– Assist with order picking.
– Prepare products for transportation.
Inventory Control
Employees assist with inventory accuracy and stock management.
Responsibilities include:
– Perform stock counting.
– Conduct inventory checks.
– Record stock movement accurately.
– Update Warehouse Management System (WMS).
– Monitor stock levels.
– Report inventory discrepancies.
– Assist with periodic stock audits.
– Support inventory reconciliation activities.
Cleaning & Hygiene
Maintaining a clean working environment is an important part of this role.
Responsibilities include:
– Keep warehouse areas clean.
– Maintain hygiene standards.
– Clean packing stations.
– Remove waste materials promptly.
– Organize storage locations.
– Follow food hygiene regulations.
– Support scheduled cleaning activities.
– Maintain a safe working environment.
Workplace Safety
Employees are expected to comply with all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
Responsibilities include:
– Follow company safety procedures.
– Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
– Handle products safely.
– Report workplace hazards immediately.
– Practise proper lifting techniques.
– Operate warehouse equipment safely.
– Follow emergency procedures whenever required.
Teamwork & Communication
Employees will work closely with warehouse supervisors and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
