SALARY AND BENEFITS
Gross Monthly Salary: Up to SGD 2,004
Joining Incentive: SGD 1,500

WORKING HOURS
12-hour rotating shifts
6 working days per week
One rest day according to the duty roster
Day and night shifts will be assigned based on operational requirements
Candidates must be willing to stay and work in Singapore throughout the employment period
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hospital Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the hospital premises. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, hospital wards, isolation rooms, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, operating theatre support areas, waiting areas, offices, and staff facilities.
Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, polish, and maintain all assigned floor surfaces.
Clean and sanitise patient beds, mattresses, bedside cabinets, chairs, tables, wheelchairs, trolleys, stretchers, and medical support equipment according to hospital procedures.
Clean toilets, washrooms, sinks, mirrors, showers, changing rooms, and public restrooms to ensure they remain hygienic and presentable throughout the day.
Empty rubbish bins and collect general waste, recyclable waste, and clinical waste while following hospital waste segregation procedures.
Transport waste safely to designated disposal areas according to infection prevention guidelines.
Replenish toiletries and hygiene supplies, including tissue paper, toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitiser, paper towels, and other consumables.
Operate cleaning machines and equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, polishing machines, and pressure cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all hospital cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in corridors, elevators, staircases, waiting lounges, cafeterias, and other public areas.
Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms after discharge whenever required.
Comply with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols to minimise the spread of infections within the hospital.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and follow workplace safety procedures at all times.
Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, spills, accidents, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Assist supervisors with additional cleaning assignments whenever required.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
No previous working experience is required.
Training will be provided for all successful candidates.
Basic English communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties for extended periods.
Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Able to comply with hospital hygiene, safety, and infection control standards.
Willing to relocate and stay in Singapore during the employment contract.
